Keith Haney Joins United States Motorsports Association Leadership Council

Tulsa, OK - The United States Motorsports Association (USMA) is pleased to announce that Keith Haney has joined the Association as the newest member of the Leadership Council.

Haney provides the USMA extensive experience as a successful businessman, drag racer, team owner, and part owner of Tulsa Raceway Park. In 2011 the track had announced it was closing. After hearing the news, Haney and his business partner Todd Martin stepped in to take over ownership and promotion of the facility. The 51-year-old track is operating better than ever.

"I'm extremely passionate about the future of our sport and it's long overdue that we join together to show the economic benefits racing provides," said Haney. "As a track owner, I see first-hand the jobs and economic impact racing provides our community. I'm honored to join the leadership council and support the important work of the USMA."

The USMA is a Non-Profit Organization that was initiated to conduct the first-ever national Motorsports Impact Report. The USMA is leading an effort to change perceptions, promote facts, and connect the racing community to public officials on a local, state, and federal level.

"Our leadership council has gained a bold and action oriented leader," said Shawn Stewart, Executive Director of the USMA. "Having turned a closed track around will provide the USMA invaluable knowledge and experience. In addition, Keith's business and promotional acumen will be a tremendous benefit to our membership."

THE USMA EXISTS TO PROMOTE THE POWERFUL ECONOMIC BENEFITS OF MOTORSPORTS AND REPRESENT OUR INDUSTRY ACROSS AMERICA.
