DESPITE DELTA VARIANT RACING CONTINUES TO HAVE STRONG PERFORMING SUMMER

Unlike the challenges of 2020 this summer has been more predictable for Motorsports and Racing. Most venues are operating at full capacity and crowds have been excellent. Car counts in several sectors of Motorsports are experiencing record entries. Venues visited by USMA Staff and Ambassadors have had outstanding events and COVID concerns are being addressed as needed.

Public officials have been attending race track events throughout the summer. Selinsgrove Speedway in Pennsylvania for example recently hosted Congressman Fred Keller (PA-12) for a USAC Silver Car Champ Series event.

Congressman Keller was recognized for his support of the RPM Act and Motorsports. USMA wishes to thank Congressman Keller, Selinsgrove Speedway, Track Promoter Steve Inch, and USMA Ambassador Tom Beatty for their support during this event.

COVID-19 UPDATES

In some states and communities, masks are still being mandated or re-mandated due to the Delta Variant. We know from the Summer of 2020 racing season the spread of Covid is much lower outdoors than it is indoors. 2020 racing events had minimal to zero impact on the spread of Covid.

USMA continues to monitor COVID 19 and is available to assist as needed.
